In a landmark achievement, Samsung collaborates with a key customer to introduce a groundbreaking microSD card, setting new industry standards. This custom product leverages cutting-edge firmware technology and a low-power design, equipping Samsung’s SD Express microSD card with SSD-like performance in a compact form factor.
Traditionally, microSD cards using the UHS-1 interface peaked at 104MB/s read speeds. However, Samsung’s SD Express card shatters these limitations, boasting an impressive 985MB/s read speed, previously unseen in microSD cards.
With a sequential read speed of up to 800MB/s, Samsung’s SD Express microSD card outperforms SATA SSDs by 1.4 times and traditional UHS-1 memory cards by over four times. This enhancement promises enhanced computing experiences across PCs and mobile devices. Dynamic Thermal Guard (DTG) technology ensures optimal temperature management, guaranteeing stable performance and reliability even during prolonged usage.

With water protection, extreme temperature resilience, drop-proof design, wear-out protection, and X-ray and magnetic shielding, Samsung’s 1TB microSD card ensures dependable performance even in the harshest environments.
